Some people enjoy listening to a love ballad, other people hate them. With most love ballads I have to be in the right mood in order to appreciate them. Some people think this song is about death or the end of a relationship, but I believe it is about a couple who are about to separate temporarily and will miss each other while they are apart. When you listen to this love ballad, which is sung in the Italian language, it has the power to move you even if you haven’t a clue what Bocelli and Brightman are singing about.
