I have been doing quite a bit of highway driving lately and that always allows me time to indulge in listening to my favorite kinds of music. Whether I choose catchy monster ballads, loud rock ballads or a sultry love ballad, I get to rock out and sing my heart out as the miles roll by. There are lots of traditional rock ballads that have been performed through the years by many very famous artists. Rock ballads never seem to loose their appeal and many of them are being redone by younger, newer, upcoming music talents. A friend of mine has a saying that if you want to make it big in the music business then you have to be able to sing some kind of love ballad or rock out to the sounds of rock ballads. I enjoy listening to a variety of music that includes hits from years past as well as little known songs from new and thriving artists. I have come across a new sound from a band out of Las Vegas called Air Raid Anthem. They describe their music as powerpop which has a very catchy beat and pleasant sound. They are very capable of producing some number one hit rock ballads and I look forward to hearing more of their songs as they develop.
